The only downside is that it's in an area where you can't safely walk.
It was such a treat to feel like such a valued customer. From the front desk to elevator security to the bell men (best of all ZACH) to the casino pit boss, everyone wanted me to have fun. Above all, the motor city casino staff won me over. Drinks were pricey, but the atmosphere was great. Since we had such great appetizers in the lounge, we decided to pass on the big dinner and had more appetizers instead.
Beautiful view atop the hotel overlooking the Detroit River, Windsor and Ambassador bridge. This is one if not the best restaurant in the city. Our birthday party plan was to dine at Iridescence. Both were outstanding for a concierge lounge. We were given a room on the 14th floor as a bonus which I'm sure helps the review, but with that room came free early evening appetizers and continental breakfast. not so! From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that we were welcome. I live nearby, and have never been interested in Detroit gaming, so i packed lots of books to read cause I figured i'd be bored. I was cajoled into buying a night at the Motor City Casinos for a birthday party.
